Customers

Two different questions, two different columns. Approved / Pending / Blocked is about whether somebody may use the website. Price level is about what they pay: Normal prices — the same prices visitors and Google see — or Wholesale prices, your trade prices. Only you can move somebody between the two, and you can move them back at any time. Everybody is on one list below — Pending, Approved and Blocked together. Use the buttons above the list to see just one group.

Personal customers register on the website and are let in straight away, on the normal prices — they never wait in your list. Only businesses asking for trade prices appear as Pending in the list below. Pressing Approve there lets them in and gives them the prices their type of business calls for: wholesale for an internet provider, a networking company or a shop; normal prices for a personal customer, for “Other”, and for anyone with no type of business on file. The box that opens tells you which, by name, before anything is saved. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always change your mind.

Check the “Email confirmed?” column before you approve anybody. A confirmed email means the person opened our email and clicked the link, so we know the address is really theirs. Email NOT confirmed means they have not done it yet — that is how fake sign-ups get in. Not recorded (old account) means the account is from before we started asking, so we simply do not know. A ⚠️ in the Phone column means that same number is on more than one account — the two may be the same person twice.
